Coastal Communities League Captains take Tournament medals

Four community captains involved in the Coastal Communities Pickleball League participated in a Fundraising Tournament for the Delaware Senior Games, that will be held in Dover, Delaware in early September. Three of the four took medals.

The fundraiser took place at the John M. Clayton School in Dagsboro, Delaware on August 23rd. Winning Bronze in the advanced Mens Doubles category were Bay Forest Captain, Fred Valente who teamed with Millville resident, Mitch Petanick.

Taking Silver in the Intermediate Mens Doubles category were Bay Colony Captain, Vince Schettino who teamed with Stan Piesla, who is the Captain of Millville by the Sea Team 2.

Also participating at the Advanced Mens Doubles level was Bay Forest co-Captain Bill Alcusky.
